Patafie's Moving Supply and Rentals is a 100% Canadian locally owned and operated moving supply store. We cater to 98% of the moving industry in Ottawa. Patafie’s is recognized as a one-stop moving supply store with absolutely everything you can think of to make your move, packing, shipping or custom packaging project as painless as possible. At our 25,000 sq. ft. facility we specialize in renting moving dollies, hand & appliance carts, moving blankets, logistic straps and much more.

Peter Patafie, President and Owner of Patafie’s Inc., Ottawa’s largest locally owned and operated packing, rental and moving supplies wholesale and retail business. Peter is an Ottawa Native who’s been active in the business community for over 33 years. Peter’s business experience in the Ottawa area spans over 30 years serving many phases of the construction, High Tech and local moving industry in one way or another. December 1998 when Peter started his business there were two employees with Peter and his wife Mavourneen.

Peter is a member on the Board of Directors for the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa, which he has been a member of for 24 years and is active in many local charity functions, which include the CHEO Duck Race. Patafie’s was nominated as the “New Small Business of the Year” by the Greater Ottawa Chamber of Commerce in the first year of business and was awarded the 2nd place Silver Award. A few years later Peter was nominated as the “Business Person of the Year” and finished as one of five finalists. As Peter says “Winning is not everything, just being nominated is an honor.”
