Peter and Mavourneen Patafie have been together for 42 years and married for 37 years. With Peter’s Strong work ethic and great reputation throughout the city, Peter and Mavourneen Started the company from their living room in 1998, at the age of 49 (Peter) and 46(Mavourneen). Mavourneen, respectfully was worried at their age and the parents to three children to take such a big risk, she relied on Peter’s voice saying “Relax, I know what I’m talking about”. She quit her 15 year career as an Insurance agent and came onboard at Patafies along side of her husband in 1998. Peter has many years of Community Involvement such as Kiwanis, which he was president in 2009, The CHEO Duckrace which Peter was the mascot Coach Quackie and serving Seniors Christmas Lunch through the Kiwanis Club of

David Patafie

Our newest addition, David is Peter and Mavourneen’s Youngest Son. David has brought to the company many years of knowledge from the outside world. Before joining the company, David has had a rewarding career in banking. He has entered the company to eventually take over the reigns for Peter and Mavourneen. He has introduced such new ideas as Patafie’s Online Store. Working with your family can be tough, but David enjoys every challenging moment. David is currently overseeing his father Peter and has accepted the position of Vice President at Patafie’s INC. Rose Marie was Patafie’s first employee. Peter and Rose Marie have worked together since 1992. When Peter and Mavourneen Opened up Patafie’s Moving Supplies and Rentals INC, they knew they needed trusted and valued employee like Rose Marie. Pierce Robertson

Pierce has been a friend to the Patafie Family since he was a young boy. Peter use to coach Pierce in Hockey beginning when he was 8. Pierce played for the Canterbury Crusaders. John Patafie
John Patafie is Peter’s brother. He is newly retired from the House of Commons. As a retiree John has spare time on his hand. With his handyman skills, John repairs all Patafie’s rental equipment on a part time basis. John works Tuesday’s Wednesday’s and Thursday’s at Patafies. John can be reached at 613-238-1222
